The OSB Licensed Paralegal application process is rigorous and consists of several phases, but one of the most crucial and challenging is the portfolio phase.
Oregon Licensed Paralegals assisted 10 of the 11 individuals in the very first cohort of applicants. All 10 of the applicants associated with Oregon Licensed Paralegals satisfied the bar’s portfolio requirements, passed their examinations, and ultimately became Licensed Paralegals.

In the second cohort of OSB Licensed Paralegal applicants, none of whom sought the help of Oregon Licensed Paralegals, only 7 of the 11 applicants (63%) satisfied the bar’s portfolio requirements and moved onto the testing phase of the application process. This trend is disappointing and highlights the critical need for assistance and guidance during the portfolio creation process.
That’s why Oregon Licensed Paralegals was founded – a service dedicated to helping qualified individuals with navigating the complex Licensed Paralegal application process. One of our goals is simple: to help applicants create a compelling portfolio that demonstrates their qualifications and abilities in the area of family law.
Oregon Licensed Paralegals is confident that we can provide the support needed to help applicants build a portfolio of work product that will satisfy the Oregon State Bar’s requirements.
